Waste management Project in Mogadishu

International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Himilo Foundation have partnered to implement Waste Management Project in Hodan district. The project is designed to collect waste products and dispose them to a designed dump sites out of the living environs to improve the hygiene system of the target population, while equipping the beneficiaries with proper knowledge and understanding of keeping the environment clean. In order to keep the project sustainability, all project tools will be given to the project beneficiaries. Communal Hygiene Awareness campaigns will also be conducted to familiarize the concept of hygiene and cleanliness to the affected population
